time and even the littlest moments with family and friends remind me that I am loved--something that most of us take granted for and forget. this long weekend, though didn't go anywhere or did anything exciting, was still nice with some family time.

and of course, I also updated my etsy shop.

We took Highway 1 back to the city from Tomales Bay...curvy, winding Highway 1...

very beautiful coastal views along the way but a pain to drive through...

surprisingly, I didn't feel nauseated trying to capture the scenery.

July First Entry

Haven't updated here...been either too busy or too lazy. It's already mid-July, and this is my first July entry.

Time just flew by so quickly that the first half of 2009 is gone!! And it's mid-week already. Guess I'm having one of those moments reflecting "What have I done and been doing??"

Really like the flower arrangement here btw. This was taken at my favorite froyo place.

In love with lavenders

Saw bouquets of lavenders at the farmer's market today!! Smell so refreshing in my living room right now. I'd tried to grow them from seeds before but perhaps the San Francisco weather too cold for that.

Someday, just someday, I'll visit the lavender farms in Australia...or own and take care of one when I retire...that'll be totally awesome!

Nightlife at the museum

I finally got to see the new building of Academy of Sciences...at a nightlife event with live music and alcohol...it's what make science awesome! The museum has always been my favorite since I was little. Ah, so happy to see it finally. Too bad not all exhibits were opened at night though.

I haven't updated here lately. Because I think I ran out of inspirations...or maybe it's the dreadful gloomy weather that's making me tired and lazy...

Hot weather weekend! Had so much ice cream this weekend...home-made ice cream and strawberries...pretty made up my fro-yo-less for the last 2 weeks!

Mood Spring

In the mood for spring.

I can see spring even though today's windy weather in San Francisco doesn't feel like it. Flowers are blossoming, leaves are peeking out from branches...so nice...

Can't wait till spring is really here...new season, more colors, and new wardrobe!

instead of taking so many tasks and doing so much at the same time!!

Don't you sometime feel that time flies by so quickly, you can't remember what you did or even know if you have accomplished anything?

This photo was taken in Japan just last x'mas. Now that I look at it now, doesn't it seem like heaven is sending a message from above?

I'm not religious. But I'd prefer to think there is recarnation, that people who died will be reborn as a new person who will get to go through life again--like getting a second take.

I hope my dear grandmother is now reborn to a better, happier life.
